Mission

The Inside Sales Administrator will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the sales department through the entire sales cycle. In addition this individual will serve as key contact with multiple customer functions including purchasing, engineering, tooling, prototypes, and accounts payable. The Inside Sales Administrator will also communicate the customer requirements to the appropriate functions of the organization and ensure customer deliverables are promptly met.

·         Process P.O.’s (Piece price and tooling)

·         Set up prototype orders within the PLEX system

·         Monitor the customer engineering change system for approved changes

·         Generate ECRs in the PLEX system to quote programs, cost engineering changes, and evaluate

capacity studies

·         Assist Program Managers with engineering changes and other needs pertaining to the projects

·         Invoice the customer for tooling and monitor progress of payments

·         Work with the Finance department to resolve any customer payment issues

·         Quote prototype and production parts to the customer

·         Verify the accuracy of part pricing against the customer P.O.’s

·         Ensure material price adjustments are promptly received from the customer

·         Commercial Open Issue responsibility for some activities

·         Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor

Professional Experience/Education

Bachelor's degree in business or finance
Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in sales and in an industrial environment
PLEX experience on the sales side
Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
Strong analytical skills

     

 

 

Other Specifications

 

Travel & casual overtime may be required.  Increased occasions of the aforementioned expected during launch.
